Overview
The AS-NX-02 wrist orthosis is an anatomic immobilizing support designed for stabilization and controlled immobilization of the wrist. Constructed with ActiveSpace™ spacer lamination and featuring 3-point stabilization (L3P), it includes an integrated thumb stabilizer and a removable palm strip for directional support. Available as left or right side; total length 23 cm (9,1″).

• Post-traumatic wrist support (after sprains and fractures as indicated)

Materials & Technology
ActiveSpace™ is a 3D polyamide spacer lamination that provides high skin ventilation and low weight. The non-elastic construction improves stabilization by maintaining shape under load. The lamination permits free air flow between layers, minimizing water and moisture absorption; material is waterproof and skin-friendly.

System for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome - CTSyndrome
An integrated CTSyndrome pad on the splint reduces excessive compression of the carpal canal, lowering canal pressure and helping maintain median nerve conduction while avoiding additional compression that can worsen symptoms.

Stiffening elements
Palm strip
Plastic stays (various widths and thicknesses) made from materials such as polyamide, ABS or acrylic. Water-, moisture- and sweat-resistant; washable without removal. Stays function directionally to stabilize the laterally protected area, conform to the limb and have memory characteristics to return to original shape.

Thumb stabilizer
Integrated thumb splint supports and stabilizes the thumb when indicated.
