The brace is made of ActiveSpace™ spacer material and incorporates plastic stays and an anatomic palm strip for local support.

Materials / Technology
ActiveSpace™ is a spacer polyamide 3D lamination with high skin ventilation. It is very lightweight and consists of two layers with polyamide braids between them. ActiveSpace™ is not elastic, which improves stabilization. Inside the lamination air flows freely, maintaining minimal water and moisture absorption. The material is waterproof.

Stiffenings
Palm strip
An anatomic palm strip is used as a local stiffening element to support the wrist.

Plastic stays
Plastic stays are available in various widths and thicknesses and are made of materials such as polyamide, ABS or acrylic. Their properties determine stiffness. They are resistant to water, moisture and sweat and allow washing of the product without removing the stays. Plastic stays work mainly in one direction, stabilizing the laterally supported part while adapting to it and returning to their original shape. This provides immediate stabilization of a swollen limb after injury and after swelling subsides. Plastic stays cannot be bent to correct overall posture of the secured joint.
