Arm sling AM-BX-01

AM-BX-01 is a modular shoulder and upper-extremity orthosis for conservative treatment of proximal and mid-shaft humerus fractures. It provides traction-based immobilization to maintain alignment of bone fragments and reduces risk of pseudoarthrosis. The design fits either left or right arm and both forearms.

Key product description
AM-BX-01 offers three degrees of shoulder and arm stabilization using traction: the humerus hangs along the torso so its weight generates continuous traction. The orthosis includes removable spiral bonings placed in eight pockets for progressive stabilization adjustment. Soft, non-rigid fabrics adapt to muscle tension and allow circumference increase during contraction. A wraparound arm strap is supplied as a separate element for precise circumferential fit, plus an additional Velcro strap to adjust arm abduction/adduction smoothly.

• UniPren™: universal three-layer material with self-gripping polyamide outer layer, neoprene foam core and elastic jersey inner layer for comfortable, adhesive fit.
• Flat aluminum stays: special alloy for stiffness at low weight; rounded ends; available pre-profiled or flat for individual shaping.
• Spiral boning: coiled flat wire with shape memory, galvanically protected against corrosion; removable and placed in 8 pockets for multidirectional stabilization.
