CLASS I ELBOW ORTHOSIS WITH ROM ADJUSTMENT

Product description
Elbow orthosis OKG-09 is a Class I medical device that provides ROM adjustment in 15° increments for safe stabilization. The orthosis allows immobilization of the limb in a required position (e.g. flexion at 90°) or permits full range of motion when necessary. Lateral splints provide lateral stabilization and proper joint alignment. The orthosis is made of UniPren™ fabric and two lateral splints with drop-lock. Full hook-and-loop closure ensures a one-size product and correct fitting. Both UniPren™ and the splints are waterproof, allowing shower or bath use without removing the brace. The splints are plastic reinforced with carbon fibres, extremely lightweight and allow smooth ROM adjustment in 15° steps. Each brace is supplied with an Allen key required for adjustment. Splints are available in two length options. The splint design is patented. The brace fits both left and right elbows and provides continuous stabilization.

Materials and stiffenings
UniPren™: a universal 3-layer material consisting of an external elastic polyamide cover knit with a self-adhesive function, an internal neoprene foam core and an elastic jersey cover knit. Characterized by softness, high flexibility and absence of thick fibres that could imprint on skin.

Splint 1R: single-axis orthopedic splints manufactured from high-quality polyamide with carbon fibres; light, sweat- and salt-resistant, firm for correct functioning. Adjustment of flexion/extension angle is performed with a special Allen screw in 15° increments. Standard splint lengths: 280 mm and 380 mm.
