Product description
Dynamic functional forearm and hand orthosis with correcting hand deviation, designed for positioning treatment and immobilization of the wrist, radiocarpal joint and fingers. Intended for management of contractures, spasticity and post-traumatic immobilization.

Design and fitting
Stabilization is provided by circumferential forearm straps and wrist, palmar, distal and thumb straps. Soft padding enhances patient comfort. Adjustable frame and strap system permits precise fit on forearm and wrist. A dorsal finger band supports the phalangeal area and a soft finger separator prevents overlap, reduces spasticity and maintains correct finger alignment. A neurological finger separator is available on request (extra cost) for individual finger stabilization.

Materials and construction
The orthosis shell is manufactured from AirSanmed™ with Active3D™ thermoformed fabric for padding and lining. The frame uses a high-plasticity aluminum alloy with sweat-resistant powder coating. Forearm and hand supports are malleable to allow shaping per clinical requirements. Radial/ulnar deviation angle is adjustable with the supplied Allen key. Design and materials assist in relieving carpal tunnel symptoms.

Accessories and options
Optional neuro-rheumatological finger separator for improved finger positioning and proximal phalanx abduction in neurological or rheumatological conditions. In spasticity it prevents excessive squeezing; in Swan-Neck deformity the special fastening repositions fingers toward neutral.
