Overview
Stiff elbow brace MS-L-01 is an orthopedic orthosis designed to support controlled elbow extension and to prevent or treat flexion contractures. It complements physiotherapy and prolongs therapeutic effect after rehabilitation. Suitable for prevention and management of upper-limb spasticity after stroke, brain haemorrhage or post‑traumatic injury.

Product description
MS-L-01 consists of anatomically shaped lightweight ABS shells with an adjustable stretching mechanism based on a bolt and screws mounted to the ABS panel. The mechanism enables smooth angle adjustment between arm and forearm and can be locked to prevent involuntary movement. The ABS elements are covered with skin-friendly, thermoformed Active3D™ fabric. A silicone olecranon pad prevents sliding. Rotary buckles and circumferential straps provide secure fixation. Internal Velcro allows fitting of soft 3D relief pads.

Technology / Materials
Active3D™
Active3D™ is a thermoformed, closed-cell foam fabric that reduces pressure and abrasion from rigid orthopaedic stays and splints. It is waterproof, does not absorb sweat and is easy to clean. The material can be thermoformed and provides external self-gripping layers.

Stiffenings / Shell
The shell comprises two anatomically formed ABS elements connected by an elbow hinge. Metal parts with adjustable screws maintain limb position. Rotary buckles allow strap fitting. Internal Velcro accepts soft 3D relief pads.

Paddings / 3D supports
3D relief supports are made of supportive foam or EVA and covered with skin-friendly materials. These pads relieve rigid elements and have anatomical shape, appropriate hardness and elasticity for therapeutic effect.

The product includes a fitting/installation manual (PDF) and user manual available for download to ensure correct fitting and use.
