Upper-extremity support OKG-21 is a universal wrap-around shoulder brace designed for professional athletes and patients to maintain the humeral head within the glenoid, improve joint centration and mobility, and support joint nutrition. Made of waterproof UniPren™, a slightly elastic 3-layer material, the brace provides therapeutic compression to assist healing, limit swelling and exudation. The wrap design includes a thoracic belt with length adjustment and an additional widening element for larger circumferences.

Centralization / Elevation / Depression

• Centralization: A special T-shaped element maintains the humeral head in correct position and prevents superior or inferior migration; fixed attachment of the T element reduces the risk of the humeral head subluxating, supporting joint nutrition and smooth movement.
• Elevation: When the humeral head migrates inferiorly, position the T element proximally to elevate and maintain the head within the socket.
• Depression: When the humeral head migrates superiorly (e.g., deltoid pull in rotator cuff lesions), position the T element distally to depress the humeral head and keep it in the socket.

Materials
UniPren™ is a 3-layer material consisting of an external elastic polyamide cover knit with a self-adhesive function, an internal neoprene foam core and an elastic jersey inner knit. It is soft, highly flexible and minimizes skin abrasions in high-compression areas. Products in UniPren™ deliver effective stabilization and are easy to apply due to the self-adhesive surface.
