Description

Dupuytren’s contracture
Dupuytren’s contracture is a progressive hand deformity characterised by abnormal thickening of the palmar fascia, which can form cords or nodules and lead to finger flexion contractures. Advanced stages limit finger extension and interfere with daily tasks; severe cases may require surgical release.

Product’s description
Hand fingers brace OKG-14 is designed for immobilisation of fingers II–V. The device provides passive tissue redression to reduce contractures, improves tissue elasticity and limits finger movement to support healing or postoperative care. A low-profile Y-shaped aluminium splint spans DIP, PIP and MCP joints and the wrist; the bendable aluminium element can be contoured to the natural hand curvature. The splint is covered with AeroSpace II™ fabric for airflow and skin breathability. Adjustable straps slide along the rigid splint to adapt to the wrist, palm and fingers. The OKG-14 features a 'FREE HANDS' design leaving the thumb free to facilitate daily activities. It is suitable for prevention of recurrence after surgery and for postoperative immobilisation.
