FROZEN SHOULDER
Frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) refers to progressive shoulder pain and restricted range of motion. Symptoms often begin with pain on arm elevation, may include swelling and progressive mobility loss, and can appear suddenly after rapid movement. Common causes are muscle overload, tendon injury, bursitis and lesions of the rotator cuff or biceps tendon; prolonged inflammation may lead to impingement syndrome.

Product description
AM-SOB-05 shoulders brace is a universal orthosis made of UniPren™. The brace provides therapeutic compression, helps reduce bruising and stabilizes the humeral head in the glenoid to limit disease progression and relieve pain. It features a two-part design joined by Velcro and wrap-around arm sleeves adjustable with additional Velcro. Removable X-straps control acute swelling, support the upper limb and improve posture; they can be removed for controlled rehabilitation exercises. The device may also be used prophylactically to prevent injuries.

Materials
UniPren™ is a three-layer material composed of an external elastic polyamide knit with self-adhesive function, a neoprene foam core and an inner elastic jersey. It is soft, highly flexible and non-abrasive, minimising skin marking under compression. UniPren™ provides effective stabilization with a self-adhesive function for easier application.
