Overview
A shoulder subluxation is an injury in which there is an incomplete dislocation of the shoulder joint. The joint surfaces remain in contact but mobility is severely restricted. Causes include long-term incorrect scapular position (poor posture), injury, stretched coracohumeral ligaments due to incorrect exercise technique or accidents, and prolonged sitting with chest muscle contraction. Symptoms include severe pain, swelling, exudate and restricted joint mobility.

Product's description
The MASTER-04 shoulder brace is designed to stabilise the shoulder joint in therapeutic abduction. Correct positioning of the arm and shoulder after injury or surgery is crucial for protection and healing. The MASTER-04 reduces post-op mobility and prevents further shoulder injury. The sling consists of a shoulder element, an arm brace and a special abduction cushion. The shoulder part and the arm brace are made from the breathable AirDistance™ material. The brace is equipped with stabilizing straps covered with antimigration tape to keep the sling in place even during increased user activity. The specialized cushion provides shoulder joint abduction of up to 15 degrees, an optimal position for recovery of soft tissues (joint capsule, ligaments). The abduction cushion is made of two materials: the skin-contact layer is CottonMix™ and the inner technological layer is moisture-wicking ActiveSpace™. The cushion has a zipped removable cover for easy washing. The MASTER-04 is fully adjustable, usable on the right or left arm, and is supplied in one universal size with soft components adjustable for best fit. The brace maintains therapeutic 15-degree abduction throughout the day while allowing the user to perform everyday activities.

Materials

• ActiveSpace™: spacer polyamide 3D lamination with high skin ventilation, lightweight, two layers with polyamide braids between them; not elastic, improved stabilization, allowing free air flow and minimal moisture absorption; waterproof.
• AirDistance™: airy 3-layer fabric consisting of perforated comfort foam and two durable non-elastic polyamide layers allowing air and water migration; keeps skin dry and provides fresh air; easy to attach from two sides for precise fitting.
• CottonMix™: slightly elastic orthopedic cotton used in ecological cotton devices; available in different colours and basis weights; Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified and skin-friendly.
