OverviewNordson EFD ValveMate spray valve controllers provide precise spray pattern control using Low Volume Low Pressure (LVLP) nozzle air. Adjustable nozzle air pressure (typical 0–30 psi; 7140 available also in 0–100 psi) and fast-response pneumatic solenoids yield high transfer efficiency with reduced overspray. Controllers are designed for quick setup, PLC integration and reliable operation in automated production environments.
Features & benefits- Independent, programmable actuation channels (single or dual channel models)
- LVLP design for improved transfer efficiency and minimized overspray
- Adjustable nozzle air pressure regulator (standard 0–30 psi; optional 0–100 psi on some 7140 versions)
- Cutoff air delay adjustable from 0.0 to 2.5 seconds
- Nonvolatile memory retains settings after power-off
- Fast-response pneumatic solenoids for precise timing
- Easy interface with PLCs and automated equipment
Available models- ValveMate 8040 — controller for up to two spray valves; uses external solenoid assemblies (sold separately)
- ValveMate 7140 — controller for single spray valve applications; internal solenoids; available in 0–30 psi and 0–100 psi versions
