Description

Overview
Overhead gravimetric solid dispensing and user-friendly software enable automatic dispensing of virtually any powder or solid into a wide range of destinations (vials, tubes, plates, reactors, racks) without moving the destination, followed by mixing and microwave-assisted baking for bone cement / putty tube workflows.

Workflow (SWING MEDTECH)
  • GAMP5, CFR 21 Part 11 compliance
  • Dispense TCP (1–4 g)
  • Dispense TCP (1–4 g) (repeat/parallel step)
  • Transfer to robotic handling/transfer station
  • Cover putty tubes and turn
  • Mix or transfer to mixer and mix
  • Turn and uncover putty tubes
  • Pre-compress (rotation and distance controlled)
  • Transfer baking beaker to microwave (MW)
  • Transfer baking beaker to rotating unit
  • Post-compress
  • Return to rack; sort out nonconforming putties upon operator inspection
