Description

Overview
FLEX POWDERDOSE is a solid reagent filling system that performs overhead gravimetric dispensing and automated decapping/capping to fill powders, solids and extrudates across a wide range of destination formats. The system dispenses from milligram quantities up to 20 g with balance resolution down to 100 μg, eliminating manual weighing steps for routine and high-throughput labs.

Workflow
The system uses an overhead gravimetric dispensing approach in which the balance is moved to each destination to minimize transfer time and improve throughput. FLEX POWDERDOSE supports automated decapping and capping operations and accepts a broad variety of reagent vials, microplates and reactor formats. A dedicated control software logs dispensing data in a read-only file for traceability.

Benefits
  • Reduction in cost per sample up to 90+%.
  • Productivity increase by a factor of 10+.
  • Ventilated hood and trolley option for safe material handling.
  • Optimized small footprint (~3x3 ft / 90x90 cm) relative to capacity.
  • Gravimetric dispensing works with low-density and sticky materials, any particle size, spherical or granulate shapes, beads and tablets.
  • Balance moves to destination to maximize speed and efficiency.
  • Balance resolution down to 100 μg.
  • Wide dispensing range from milligrams up to 20 g.
  • Dispensed amount, time stamps and parameters recorded in a read-only log file.
  • AUTOSUITE software enabling drag & drop experiment design and integration with data analysis workflows.
  • Interfaces to DOE, ML, AI platforms and laboratory informatics: LIMS, ELN and ERP.

Software
AUTOSUITE provides drag & drop experiment automation for easy design, execution, analysis and reporting. The software records dispensing metadata and offers integration points for higher-level data systems and laboratory informatics.
