DescriptionThe CRD-3 Antigen Rapid Test Kit integrates simultaneous immunochromatographic detection of canine distemper, adenovirus and influenza antigens in a single lateral flow cassette. The assay assists in rapid identification of likely viral causes of respiratory signs such as coughing, sneezing, nasal discharge, fever or lethargy and supports decisions on isolation and veterinary referral.
How to use?- Unseal the extraction tube containing the buffer.
- Place the extraction tube in a stable workstation.
- Collect secretions from the canine eye, nose or mouth with the provided swab; rotate the swab >10 times.
- Insert swab into the buffer tube, close cap and mix according to instructions.
- Remove the test cassette from the foil pouch and place on a clean, flat surface.
- Add three drops (≈90 μl) of specimen vertically into the specimen well (S) of the cassette.
- Read the result at 5-10 minutes. Results read after 15 minutes are invalid.
Interpretation of results- Positive (+): Both control line (C) and test line (T) appear (T may be faint or strong).
- Negative (−): Only a clear control line (C) appears.
- Invalid: No visible control line (C); result invalid regardless of test line appearance.
