Description
The ITGen Canine Distemper Virus Antigen Rapid Test provides a rapid screening option for detection of canine distemper virus antigen in small secretion samples. It is suitable for preliminary on-site assessments by pet owners and veterinary staff.

How to use?

• Bring the test to room temperature (15–30°C) and verify kit contents.
• Unseal the buffer-containing extraction tube and place it upright.
• Collect a secretion sample from the dog's eye, nose or mouth using the swab.
• Rotate the swab >10 times in the buffer, then cap the tube.
• Open the test cassette and place on a clean, flat surface. Add three drops (~90 μl) of the mixed specimen into the sample well (S).
• Read the result at 5–10 minutes. Results after 15 minutes are invalid.

Interpretation of Results

• Positive: Both C and T lines appear (T line may be faint).
• Negative: Only the C line appears.
• Invalid: No C line appears; test invalid regardless of T line.
