Description
The ITGen Canine Rotavirus Antigen Combo Rapid Test rapidly detects rotavirus antigen in canine fecal samples using specific antibodies and colloidal gold lateral flow technology. It is suitable for quick screening in clinical and kennel environments where rapid decision-making is required. Rotavirus is a major cause of acute gastroenteritis in puppies and is highly contagious; this test offers a fast, cost-effective initial screening alternative to electron microscopy or PCR.

How to use

• Ensure test and specimen are at room temperature (15–30°C) before testing.
• Unseal the extraction tube containing buffer and place it upright in the work area.
• Collect fresh feces or a rectal swab sample with the swab; insert the swab into the buffer and rotate more than 10 times.
• Close the buffer tube cap securely.
• Remove the test device from the foil pouch and place it on a clean, flat surface.
• Add three drops (~90 μL) of the prepared specimen vertically into the sample well of the test device.

Interpretation of Results
Positive (+): Both C line and T line appear (T line may be strong or faint).
Negative (-): Only a clear C line appears.
Invalid: No colored line appears at C region, regardless of T line.
