Orthopedic Simulator for Training in Thoracic Arthrodesis and Pedicle Instrumentation
The anatomical thoracic spine model (T1–T12) by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals in orthopedic trauma who perform arthrodesis, pedicle instrumentation, and techniques involving screws, plates, rods, cages, and intervertebral spacers.
Ideal for hands-on training, workshops, courses, in-office demonstrations, trade shows, and distance learning, this simulator enables the practice of deformity correction, fracture stabilization, and alignment/reduction with a high degree of realism, using actual surgical instruments.
With a detailed anatomical structure and strength similar to that of human bone, the model allows for repetitive training in pedicle screw insertion, plate and rod placement, the use of cages and spacers, as well as laminectomy/laminotomy and assembly adjustment maneuvers, all performed safely and consistently.
It can be secured in the articulated clamps from the Nacional Ossos line (allowing for two-handed work and multi-axis manipulation) or placed in a cradle/stand for educational demonstrations.Orthopedic Simulator for Training in Thoracic Arthrodesis and Pedicle Instrumentation
