Orthopedic Simulator for Training in Osteosynthesis and Intramedullary Techniques
The anatomical model of the right humerus with medullary canal and cancellous bone by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals in orthopedics and traumatology who work with osteosynthesis, fixation using plates and screws, external fixators, and intramedullary techniques. Ideal for workshops, in-person practical classes, distance learning, and demonstrations, this simulator enables the practice of procedures with a high degree of realism, thanks to the combination of cortical bone, cancellous bone, and the medullary canal, which reproduces resistance and mechanical behavior similar to that of human bone.
Compatible with real surgical instruments, the model allows for repetitive and safe training, in line with good bioethical practices, and offers excellent performance for teaching and standardizing techniques.
It can be secured in the clamps from our product line, ensuring stability and freedom of movement along the axes necessary for the surgeon to work with both hands, just as with a real patient.
