The anatomical model of the right femur (with cortical bone, cancellous bone, and medullary canal) by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals in orthopedic trauma who work with prostheses, implants, plates, screws, fixators, and intramedullary nails. Ideal for hands-on training, workshops, courses, in-office demonstrations, and distance learning, this simulator enables the practice of procedures with a high degree of realism, safe repetition, and adherence to bioethical principles.
With a detailed anatomical structure and strength similar to that of human bone, the model allows for the practice of femoral preparation for arthroplasty, intramedullary-guided insertion, fixation with plates and screws, external fixator assembly, and the use of real surgical instruments.
It can be mounted on a vise, ensuring stability and freedom of movement across multiple axes.
