The Anatomical Pelvis with Femur and Tibia model (code 2043) by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of professors, students, and professionals in Orthopedics and Traumatology who work in hip and knee arthroplasty, osteosynthesis, instrumentation with plates/screws, fixators, and ligament techniques.
Ideal for practical training, workshops, hands-on courses, demonstrations at trade shows and conferences, clinical practice, and distance learning, this simulator allows for repetitive practice with a high degree of realism and safety.
With mechanical properties similar to those of human bone, the set provides a complete anatomical representation of the pelvis and proximal lower limbs, enabling drilling, cutting, milling, and the insertion of real implants and instruments.
The hip is articulated with a simulation of the round ligament, facilitating training in access techniques, positioning, and stability tests. The knees feature cortical and cancellous structures with a medullary canal, along with simulations of the collateral (medial and lateral) and cruciate (anterior and posterior) ligaments, allowing for training ranging from arthroplasty to ligament reconstructions.
