Orthopedic Simulator for Training in Occipito-Cervical and Anterior/Posterior Cervical Instrumentation
The anatomical cervical spine model (C1–C7) with occipital bone by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals in Orthopedics/Traumatology and Spine Surgery who work with posterior and anterior instrumentation, arthrodesis, and decompression procedures.
Ideal for hands-on training, workshops, courses, in-office demonstrations, and distance learning, this simulator enables the practice of occipito-cervical arthrodesis, cervical arthrodesis, ACDF, cervical corpectomy, and lateral mass and cervical pedicle fixations, with a high degree of realism in both in-person and distance learning settings.
With a detailed anatomical structure (occipital + C1–C7) and resistance similar to that of human bone, the model allows for the practice of placing screws, plates, interbody cages, intervertebral spacers, and rods using real surgical instruments. It provides safe, repetitive training aligned with best practices in bioethics and sustainability.
