Orthopedic simulator for training in lumbosacral arthrodesis, pedicle screws, and interbody cages (TLIF/PLIF)
The anatomical model of the lumbosacral spine with thoracic extension (T10–T12, L1–L5, and sacrum) by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals in Orthopedic Traumatology and Spine Surgery (open and MIS).
Ideal for hands-on training, workshops, courses, in-office demonstrations, and distance learning, this simulator enables the practice of pedicle instrumentation, fusion, and decompression procedures with a high degree of realism, whether in in-person or distance learning settings.
With a detailed anatomical structure and strength similar to that of human bone, the model allows for training with real surgical instruments, including the placement of pedicle screws (thoracic and lumbar) and sacral screws (S1), the assembly of rods and connectors, the insertion of cages and interbody spacers (TLIF/PLIF), as well as posterior decompression techniques (laminectomy/laminotomy). Safe, repetitive training aligned with best practices in bioethics and sustainability.
