Orthopedic Simulator for Training in Arthroplasty and Osteosynthesis of the Right Lower Limb
The Right Leg Anatomical Model by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals in orthopedic traumatology who work with prostheses, plates, screws, external fixators, and anchors. Comprising the right femur, right tibia, and right foot, this simulator enables surgical planning and training with mechanical properties similar to those of human bone, in classroom courses, workshops, demonstrations, and distance learning.
The knee features a cortical and cancellous structure and a medullary canal, with simulations of the collateral (medial and lateral) and cruciate (anterior and posterior) ligaments, providing realism for training in surgical approaches, stability, and technical execution. The model allows for cuts, drill holes, and fixations using real surgical instruments, enabling repetitive, safe practice aligned with best practices in bioethics and sustainability.
It can be mounted on the Nacional Ossos vise rail, allowing movement along all axes so that the orthopedic surgeon can work with both hands, just as with a real patient.
