Orthopedic simulator for training in knee arthroplasty, ligament reconstruction, and osteosynthesis
The anatomical right knee model with patella and soft tissue from Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and surgeons in Orthopedics and Traumatology who perform knee arthroplasty, ligament reconstructions (ACL/PCL/MCL/LCL), and osteosynthesis with plates and screws.
Ideal for hands-on training, workshops, courses, in-office demonstrations, trade shows, and distance learning, this simulator allows for the practice of cuts, drill holes, guide placement, and fixations with a high degree of realism.
Featuring a cortical and cancellous structure along with a medullary canal (providing a mechanical sensation similar to human bone), the model simulates the collateral (medial and lateral) and cruciate (anterior and posterior) ligaments, in addition to a full soft-tissue covering that provides tactile feedback, resistance, and handling characteristics consistent with actual surgical procedures.
Compatible with real surgical instruments and implants intended solely for demonstration and training, the model allows for the safe repetition of techniques.
