Description

Orthopedic Simulator for Training in the Stabilization of Oblique Femoral Fractures (ORIF)

The anatomical model of the left femur with a medial oblique fracture by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals in orthopedic trauma who work with osteosynthesis, plates and screws, and external fixators.

Ideal for hands-on training, workshops, courses, in-office demonstrations, and distance learning, this simulator allows for the highly realistic reproduction of essential steps in fracture treatment.

With mechanical properties similar to those of human bone, the model enables fracture reduction and stabilization, drilling, placement of plates and screws, and application of an external fixator using real surgical instruments. It provides safe, repetitive, and consistent practice, aligned with best practices in bioethics and sustainability.

It can be mounted on the Nacional Ossos vise line, ensuring stability and freedom of movement along the axes necessary for the surgeon to work with both hands, just as with a real patient.
