Orthopedic Simulator for Training in Osteosynthesis and External Fixation
The anatomical model of the right tibia by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals in orthopedic traumatology who work with plate and screw fixation, external fixators, and bone stabilization techniques. Ideal for hands-on training, workshops, in-person courses, in-office demonstrations, and distance learning, this simulator allows for repetitive practice with a high degree of realism.
With mechanical properties similar to those of human bone, the model accommodates real surgical instruments, allowing for surgical cuts, drill holes, screw placement, plate application, external fixator assembly, and the use of anchors, with consistent tactile feedback to help students truly progress.
It can be mounted on the Nacional Ossos vise system, which provides stability and freedom of movement along all axes, ensuring firm and safe two-handed work.
