Orthopedic Simulator for Training in Valgus Deformity Correction and Limb Alignment
The anatomical model of the Left Femur with Medial Valgus Deformity (Genu Valgum) by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals in orthopedics and traumatology who work with angular corrections, pre- planning, and technical training for cases of knee valgus—when the knees converge medially due to misalignment of the lower limb’s mechanical axis.
Ideal for hands-on training, workshops, courses, technical demonstrations, and distance learning, this simulator allows the procedure to be repeated as many times as necessary, with anatomical accuracy and mechanical response similar to that of human bone.
With a detailed synthetic structure and resistance comparable to that of human bone, the model allows for the practice of osteotomies, drill holes, guided cuts, plate and screw placement, fixation with real instruments, and alignment simulation, providing safe, reproducible, and bioethically sound training that replaces the use of biological specimens.
Compatible with Nacional Ossos clamps, enabling secure fixation and multi-axis manipulation.
