Orthopedic Simulator for Training in Osteosynthesis and Glenoid Fixation
The anatomical model of the right scapula with a support block by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals in orthopedic traumatology who specialize in shoulder trauma, particularly intra-articular glenoid fractures and complex scenarios such as the “floating shoulder”.
With a solid structure and mechanical properties similar to those of human bone, the model allows for training in anatomical reduction and rigid fixation using actual surgical instruments, including plates, screws, and anchors, with high predictability. The support block improves stability during practice.
Compatible with Nacional Ossos’ line of clamps, it allows for multi-axial movements so the operator can work with both hands firmly and safely. Repetitive, safe, and bioethically sound training, perfect for workshops, courses, demonstrations, and distance learning.
