Orthopedic Simulator for Training in Osteosynthesis of Distal Oblique Ankle Fractures
The anatomical model of the right ankle with a distal oblique fracture by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals in orthopedic traumatology who work in the treatment of ankle fractures, surgical planning, and training in fixation techniques.
Ideal for hands-on training, workshops, courses, in-office demonstrations, and distance learning, this simulator allows for the practice of reduction and fixation with a high degree of realism, repeatability, and safety.
With mechanical properties similar to those of human bone, the model allows for drilling, fracture reduction, and the placement of plates and screws using real surgical instruments.
The model can be mounted on Nacional Ossos’s vise system, allowing for movement along all axes and providing the stability needed for the surgeon to work with both hands, just as with a real patient.
