Orthopedic simulator for training in clavicle osteosynthesis using plates, screws, and cerclage
The anatomical model of the right clavicle by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals in Orthopedics and Traumatology focused on open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) of clavicle fractures using plates and screws (locking or conventional) and auxiliary techniques such as cerclage.
Ideal for practical training, workshops, hands-on courses, in-office demonstrations, and distance learning, this simulator allows for highly realistic technical practice using actual surgical instruments.
With a solid structure and strength similar to that of human bone, the model allows for drilling, reaming, measurement, positioning, and fixation of plates, as well as interfragmentary screws (lag screws) and cerclage for fragment control.
