Orthopedic simulator for training in the correction of femoral deformities (varus + sagittal plane deformity)
The anatomical model of the right femur with a two-plane deformity (medial/anterior – varus) from Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of professors, students, and professionals in orthopedic trauma who are involved in the planning and performance of osteotomies, mechanical/anatomical axis correction, and internal fixation with plates and screws.
Ideal for hands-on training, workshops, courses, in-office demonstrations, and distance learning, this simulator allows for the practice of deformity analysis, cut planning, angular correction, and stabilization with a high degree of realism.
With anatomical accuracy and resistance similar to that of human bone, the model enables repetitive and safe training in femoral osteotomies (wedge osteotomy for closure or opening, dome osteotomy when applicable), drilling, and fixation using real surgical instruments.
