The anatomical model of the right femur with distal varus deformity by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of professors, students, and professionals in orthopedic trauma who perform corrective osteotomies, plate and screw fixations, external fixation, and minimally invasive techniques (MIPO).
Ideal for hands-on training, workshops, courses, conferences, technical demonstrations, and distance learning, this simulator allows for repetitive practice with a high degree of realism.
With a detailed anatomical structure and resistance similar to that of human bone, the model allows for cuts, drill holes, and osteotomies, as well as the placement of plates, screws, and external fixators using real surgical instruments. It is also excellent for preoperative planning and simulations related to knee deformities, including alignment scenarios and preparation for reconstructive procedures.
Compatible with Nacional Ossos’ line of vises, it allows for stable positioning and movement along all axes, enabling the surgeon to work with both hands firmly and safely, just as with a real patient. Safe, repetitive training aligned with best practices in bioethics and sustainability.
