Orthopedic Simulator for Training in the Correction of Distal Valgus Deformity
The anatomical model of the right tibia with distal valgus deformity by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals in orthopedic traumatology who work on planning, correcting alignment, and fixing osteotomies in the distal tibia.
Ideal for hands-on training, workshops, courses, in-office demonstrations, and distance learning, this simulator allows for the practice of alignment assessment, cut marking, osteotomy performance, and stabilization with implants with a high degree of realism.
With a detailed anatomical structure and strength similar to that of human bone, the model allows for repetitive and safe training in angular correction techniques using real surgical instruments (plates, screws, and external fixation, when indicated). It is a solution aligned with best practices in bioethics and sustainability, replacing the use of biological specimens.
