Orthopedic simulator for training in knee arthroplasty, osteosynthesis, and external fixation
The anatomical right knee model by Nacional Ossos was developed to meet the needs of instructors, students, and professionals in orthopedic trauma who work with plates and screws, external fixators, intramedullary nails, anchors, and prostheses (for demonstration and training purposes).
Ideal for hands-on training, workshops, courses, in-office demonstrations, and distance learning, this simulator enables the practice of procedures with a high degree of realism, safe repetition, and technical consistency.
Featuring a right femur and right tibia with a cortical layer, cancellous bone, and medullary canal, as well as a joint connected by simulated collateral (medial and lateral) and cruciate (anterior and posterior) ligaments, the model allows for cuts, drill holes, and instrumentation using real surgical instruments, providing a mechanical sensation similar to that of human bone.
Vise mounting: It can be attached to Nacional Ossos’ line of articulated vises, allowing for multi-axis movements so the surgeon can work with both hands, firmly and safely, just as with a real patient.
