OKD-10 DUAL dynamic lower limb raising legs orthosis is an innovative device that helps to raise the leg during walking for people with severely limited mobility. The orthosis assists leg elevation when the lower limb is momentarily relieved, facilitating the next step and improving physiological limb mobility. The device is very slim and can be worn under clothing to remain discreet.

Components and design
OKD-10 DUAL consists of: universal carrying belt, dynamic thigh system, patellar strap and dynamic foot lifting system. The carrying belt features a universal system for setting tighten and compression and a rear circumferential adjustment. The belt interior is lined with skin-friendly SoftComfort™ material which allows the skin to breathe. The back of the belt includes a thermoformed lightweight pad that provides a support point and helps maintain upright posture during gait.

Dynamic thigh system
The thigh system includes a set of springs to facilitate knee flexion, an attachment buckle with adjuster and a stiffened knee stirrup. Springs enable active raising of the lower limb during gait even in users with severe muscle weakness or stiffness. Springs are covered with pressure-relieving ActivePren™ material to eliminate risk of pressure on the skin and to ensure comfort. The knee stirrup is additionally stiffened to keep knee alignment and coated with the durable PowerLift™ material. The thigh assembly connects to the patellar strap via an attachment clamp; the strap is lined with non-slip silicone to prevent movement during use.

Foot elevation
A dynamic rubber band fitted to the patellar strap effectively elevates the foot and facilitates movement during gait. The orthosis can work alternately on both legs, facilitating knee flexion and foot movement. It can be used with or without the patellar strap (possible integration with standard knee braces) and is suitable for use in rehabilitation with standing frames.

SoftComfort™: soft comfort foam laminated with a delicate cover knit, perforated for breathability; designed for very sensitive skin; Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and REACH compliant.
