Description
Hip replacement: a surgical procedure that replaces a damaged hip joint with an artificial implant. AM-SB-05 DUAL is a universal hip orthosis designed to control flexion/extension and abduction/adduction. Constructed from Active3D™ with soft universal abdominal and thigh supports and an anatomic monocentric splint with ROM adjustment, the device stabilizes the hip while allowing precise, progressive limitation of motion. Soft parts incorporate ABS elements with Velcro fasteners; the splint uses a press-slide mechanism for smooth length adjustment. The orthosis reinforces the joint, supports postoperative management, may improve gait pattern and assists treatment of muscle contractures. Always consult a physician before restricting hip motion.
