Description
Wrap-around knee brace AM-OSK-O/2 is a Class I professional medical device designed to support gait and facilitate rehabilitation following knee injury or in conservative treatment of instability. Constructed from ActivePren™ with the AirSupply System to ensure ventilation and moisture removal. The device features independent VELCRO straps and 2-axial aluminium side splints (no ROM adjustment) that stabilize the knee in the frontal plane. Elastic compression and maintained temperature provide analgesic effects and help reduce effusion and swelling. The wrap-around design simplifies application for seniors and patients with thigh–calf disproportion.

Purpose of use

• Post-traumatic conservative treatment of the knee (ligament sprains/partial tears, muscle sprains)
• Chronic frontal and sagittal knee instability
• Postoperative rehabilitation when no ROM block is required
• Degenerative joint conditions or instability when surgical treatment is not indicated or declined

ActivePren™
ActivePren™ is a three-layer material with elastic jersey covers and a neoprene foam core, offering softness and high flexibility without imprinting or abrasion in high-compression areas. Products made from ActivePren™ provide effective stabilization.

Splints (Splint 2)
Double-axis polycentric splints with rack-and-pinion mechanism that follow the anatomic knee movement. Made of aluminium alloy with a sanded cover resistant to sweat and salt. Each splint includes a shaped silicone insert to stabilize the splint and reduce stress on the joint.

Paddings (3D supports)
Independent 3D relief supports made of supportive foams or EVA, connected to skin-friendly covers; anatomically shaped to protect soft tissues from rigid elements and enhance patient comfort.
