Description
Hallux valgus (bunion) is a deformity characterized by lateral deviation of the great toe at the first metatarsophalangeal joint. It commonly causes inflammation, bursitis, joint degeneration, foot deformity and pain. Risk factors include genetics, female sex, foot anatomy, ligament and tendon laxity, obesity and wearing high heels that increase loading on the metatarsal heads.

Our bunion brace AM-OP-01 consists of a soft big toe cover and a heel strap. It helps prevent progression of hallux valgus and allows early conservative treatment. The brace can be worn in shoes and during daily activities without restricting foot function. It is a professional Class I medical device designed to support the bunion area during activity. For home use a dedicated bunion splint AM-OP-01 provides precise stabilization of the big toe.
