DescriptionSingle-splint knee orthosis designed to offload medial or lateral compartments and improve gait quality during rehabilitation. The 3-point system reduces pressure on injured articular cartilage, decreases pain receptor activation (maximum during midstance) and helps align articular surfaces to prevent valgus or varus deformity. Constructed from ProSix™ and PowerElastic™ fabrics for close fit, breathability and compression control.
Materials and key featuresProSix™: 3D elastic fabric with external stabilizing layer, duothermic spacer foam for air permeability and compression, cotton inner layer for skin comfort. PowerElastic™: thin spandex-based fabric offering compression, perspiration wicking and a soft touch. Both fabrics certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
The brace includes a diagonal dynamic spiral strap that tightens on knee extension to resist valgus forces and limit axial rotation. An adjustable tibial strap enhances tibial capture and suspension. Integrated single-splint 2RP provides ROM adjustment. The device stabilizes the knee and is indicated for knee degeneration and MCL injuries with instability.
How the 3 Points System worksFirst support point: sleeve connected to the splint stabilizing the thigh on the stressed (medial or lateral) side.
Second support point: sleeve connected to the splint stabilizing the shin on the stressed side.
Third support point: spiral strap attached to the hinge and two axial straps above and below the joint (on femoral and tibial condyles) that reduce pressure on the opposite-side straps by approximately 50%. Key element: polycentric hinge allowing edge and rotational movement during flexion to maintain alignment with the knee axis.
SplintDouble-axis splint 2RP: orthopedic splint that follows anatomic knee motion during flexion. Reinforced polycentric splint with articulated mechanism and sliders on parabolic tracks. Arms made of high-quality aluminum alloy with durable powder coating; drop locks in acid-resistant steel with threaded holes. Splints are waterproof for use in wet/humid conditions. Includes hyperextension knee lock and adjustable joint flexion angles: free, 10°, 30°, 40°, 60°, 75°, 90°; extension angles: 10°, 20°, 30°, 40°. ROM set with hardened screws into threaded holes marked by angle. Each unit with 2RP splint includes an Allen key. Movable elements run on galvanized steel rivets with Teflon sliders for maintenance-free operation.
