JAVELIN – functional knee orthosis with FLOW MOTION Technology. The JAVELIN provides targeted support to the knee joint after injury and helps limit further damage. It protects ligaments, tendons, joint capsule and meniscus in cases of sprain, dislocation or advanced ligament lesions. The orthosis is built on a lightweight anatomically shaped aluminium frame for maximal stabilization with minimal weight. Thermoformed padding with adjustable length reduces pressure on bony prominences and is covered with skin‑friendly silicone to prevent migration. The anterior–posterior frame design is particularly suited to protect against anterior translation (e.g. ACL injuries). Wrap‑around Velcro straps remain secure during prolonged use and a quick pin fastening system ensures simple, intuitive application.

Main features
The integrated 4‑axis hinge reproduces physiological knee motion using clock inserts that move relative to one another based on the four‑bar linkage principle, maintaining consistent contact between articular surfaces across the physiological range of motion. Pressure‑relieving thermoformed cushioning with anti‑migration properties and optional soft attachment pads enable precise individualized fitting. Circumferential straps with a memory system and quick‑release buckles allow rapid application and removal. The orthosis is fully water‑resistant and suitable for bathing and water sports environments.

FLOW MOTION Technology: advanced aluminium splints with an innovative 4‑axis hinge that replicates anatomical knee movement, maintains constant contact between thigh and shin articular surfaces across the physiological range and supports natural rotational movements. 3D relief supports (pads) made of supportive foam or EVA relieve rigid elements of the orthosis; skin‑friendly materials and adhesive‑function layers ensure anatomical comfort.
