Overview
The OKD-14 DUAL is a knee and hip orthosis with ROM (range of motion) adjustment designed for patients with lower limb stabilization problems, flaccid paralysis and paresis, and other conditions causing poor myotonus and muscle weakness. It combines a soft hip part and a long knee brace and is intended to support and stabilize the hip and knee joints, provide post-op control, assist in walk therapy and prevent contractures.

Product description
The orthosis comprises a soft hip part (circumferentially adjustable) and a long knee brace made of ActiveDistance and ActiveDistance II materials. The hip part includes soft lateral support, circumferential straps and a splint with length adjustment. The hip brace features a drop-lock with ROM adjustment in every 15 degrees. The 1RE splint is a single-axis splint with hyperextension control allowing adjustment of -15° and -30° of extension. Lightweight splints are made of high-quality aluminium with carbon fibres and provide lateral stabilization and low weight. The internal side of the brace is covered by a skin-friendly cotton layer with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification.
