Overview
Ankle sprains and strains are frequent in clinical practice and in sports. The AM-OSS-05 is a Class I medical ankle orthosis designed to provide adjustable lateral stabilization while remaining lightweight and compatible with most athletic footwear.

Product description
The AM-OSS-05 features a universal (right/left) design and a laced closure that adapts to different ankle anatomies. Two removable anatomic-shaped lateral splints deliver targeted support. The brace is constructed from advanced textiles (ActiveSpace™, AeroSpace™, AeroSpace II™, AirRubber III™) that combine ventilation, compression and controlled elasticity. Splints are removable for washing and for transport in footwear.

Functionality
The combination of lateral splints, laced system and spiral elastic straps enables precise control of inversion/eversion. Modify medial spiral strap tension to correct inversion or adjust the lateral strap to maintain eversion. In neutral settings the brace maintains physiological foot alignment while allowing controlled mobility.

Stiffenings
Two removable anatomic lateral splints provide wire-based reinforcement to control varus/valgus motion and enhance stability.
