Overview
Ankle sprains and strains are among the most frequent musculoskeletal injuries. The AM-OSS-05 is a Class I medical ankle orthosis designed to provide adjustable lateral stabilization while remaining compatible with most athletic footwear.

Product description
The AM-OSS-05 features a universal design (fits right and left limb) and a laced construction for an adjustable fit. Two removable anatomically shaped lateral splints deliver targeted support. The orthosis is manufactured from advanced textiles: ActiveSpace™, AeroSpace™, AeroSpace II™ and AirRubber III™, combining ventilation, controlled compression and longitudinal elasticity. Splints are removable to allow washing and to enable use inside shoes.

Technology & materials
ActiveSpace™ is a 3D spacer polyamide lamination with high skin ventilation. It is a lightweight non-elastic two-layer construction that improves stabilization and limits moisture absorption.
AeroSpace II™ is an elastic 3D knitted fabric with a self-gripping outer layer for easy adjustment, high flexibility and open structure for sweat drainage; it provides compression, fit and reduces muscle vibration.
AirRubber III™ has unidirectional elasticity (lengthwise stretch) that enhances compression without increasing width; its braided structure allows airflow and provides a gentle massaging effect on the skin.

Stiffenings and supports
Two removable anatomic lateral splints stabilize the joint effectively. Spiral dynamic straps and a figure‑8 strap design enable controlled inversion/eversion correction. Suitable for use inside athletic shoes.
