Description
The AS-KX-02 wraparound hinged knee brace provides fast, secure stabilization for left or right knees. Designed for easy application with a wraparound construction, it is suitable for elderly users and for post-injury or postoperative support. The brace offers compression and retention of therapeutic heat to reduce swelling and inflammation, relieve pain and promote healing.

Indications / Clinical context
Intended for unstable knees with sensations of twisting or lateral movement. Indications include ligament injuries, degenerative joint disease, inability to fully extend the knee, and audible popping or clicking during movement.

Design and features
Constructed from skin-friendly AeroSpace™ 3D knitted fabric for continuous air circulation and moisture wicking. Open wraparound design with lateral hinged 1R splints and adjustable joint mobility in 15° increments. Lateral splints maintain physiological alignment, provide analgesic effect and help prevent deformity progression. Adjustable straps allow use on left or right knee and accommodate both men and women. Provides compression and therapeutic heat retention for swelling reduction.

Materials
AeroSpace™: distance elastic 3D knitted fabric with two facing layers and interlacing for optimal thickness and pressure distribution. Made from polyester yarn and spandex: low weight, high flexibility, open structure for sweat drainage and airflow; reduces muscle vibration; soft to the touch and compatible with mounted orthopedic elements.

Splints / Stiffening
Fitted with 1R single-axis orthopedic splints made of high-quality polyamide reinforced with carbon fibres. Lightweight and resistant to sweat and salt. Flexion and extension are adjusted via an Allen screw in 15° increments. Each brace includes an Allen key. Standard splint lengths: 280 mm and 380 mm.
