Description
The AS-SKL/F knee brace by 4sport is a Class I medical orthosis designed to stabilize and protect the knee during sports and daily activities. It integrates lateral orthopedic stays, ACL support, adjustable VELCRO straps and a removable patella stabilizer. Fabrics used: ActivePren™ (neoprene-core three-layer) and ActiveSpace™ (3D polyamide spacer) for controlled compression, skin-friendly contact and active ventilation.

Materials
ActivePren™
ActivePren™ is a three-layer material with a neoprene foam core and elastic jersey cover fabrics. It provides flexible compression, low skin imprinting and effective stabilization suitable for orthopedic supports.

ActiveSpace™
ActiveSpace™ is a 3D polyamide spacer with high skin ventilation. The lamination comprises two fabric layers separated by polyamide braids; it is non-elastic to aid stabilization, allows airflow and minimizes water/moisture retention. Material is waterproof.

Spiral boning
Spiral boning consists of coiled thin wire formed into a flattened spring. Variations in width and wire thickness determine stabilization strength. Each element has profiled fittings to prevent damage and is corrosion-protected. Spiral bonings adapt to body contours, provide multidirectional support and can remain in the orthosis during washing.

Patella stabilizers
Removable patella stabilizers made from relief foam with a skin-friendly fabric backing and a gripper side for attachment to the orthosis. Anatomical shape with appropriate hardness and elasticity; detachable and fastenable from the inside.
