Overview
The MS-L-01 stiff elbow orthosis provides controlled progressive elbow extension to prevent flexion contractures and support rehabilitation after neurological or traumatic injury. The device combines anatomically shaped lightweight ABS shells with an adjustable bolt-and-screw mechanism for smooth angle setting and secure locking. A dedicated silicone olecranon pad and Active3D™ cover improve anatomical fit and reduce sliding.

Product description
The orthosis consists of two anatomically formed ABS elements joined by an elbow hinge. Angle adjustment is achieved via a bolt and two screws assembled to the ABS panel; once the required angle is reached the bolt is tightened to lock the position. The ABS shell is covered with Active3D™ thermoformed fabric, which is skin-friendly, waterproof and easy to clean. Internal Velcro attachments allow positioning of soft 3D relief pads. Rotary buckles and circumferential straps secure the device on the limb.

Materials and technology
Active3D™ is a thermoformed closed-cell fabric that reduces pressure and abrasion from rigid orthopaedic elements, is fully waterproof, does not absorb sweat and is easy to clean. The shell is made of anatomically formed ABS elements with an elbow hinge. The device includes rotary buckles for straps, metal elements with an adjustable screw for maintaining limb position, and internal Velcro for attaching soft 3D relief pads. 3D relief supports are made of supporting foams or EVA foam and provide anatomical cushioning and pressure redistribution.
