Description

Description
The AM-PES-07 back brace for posture correction is designed to move the shoulder girdle back to a neutral, physiological position and reduce excessive thoracic kyphosis. The brace corrects posture, activates trunk muscles and helps improve respiratory and circulatory functions. The brace is made of an ultralight aluminum splint, padded with a pressure-relieving upper-back pad and elastic straps. The anatomically shaped splint provides an effective point of support during postural correction and prevents deepening of the exaggerated rounding of the upper back. Padding is skin-friendly and wicks moisture away from the skin. The straps are made of resilient flexible orthopaedic rubber to retract and position the shoulders in neutral alignment. Elastic tightening straps provide a wide range of adjustment to fit most trunk sizes. The aluminum upper back splint is resistant to external forces and can be used in advanced deformities of the thoracic spine due to osteoporotic disease. The brace can be worn under clothing and provides additional stabilization and support during physical work.
