Product overview
The Dino-Lite AM4917MZT is an EDGE PLUS series handheld digital microscope offering 10–220x magnification, a 1.3 MP (1280x1024) sensor and USB 2.0 connectivity at 30 fps. It is supplied in a compact metal housing and provides accurate color reproduction and measurement-ready imaging. A distinguishing capability is Depth Acquisition: analysis of focus shifts to extract topographic depth information. Note: EDOF, EDR and Depth Acquisition functions currently operate under Windows OS only.

Imaging technologies
EDOF captures and combines multiple images at different focus depths to produce a single image with extended depth of field. EDR captures images at multiple exposures and merges them to increase dynamic range. AMR (Automatic Magnification Reading) detects and records magnification in the Dino-Lite software. The built-in adjustable polarizer reduces reflections on shiny materials such as metals, plastics, glass, jewelry and electronic components.
