Overview
The Dino-Lite AM4917MZTL is part of the EDGE PLUS series in the Long Working Distance (LWD) range. It delivers 10–140x magnification, a 1.3MP CMOS sensor and a USB 2.0 interface at 30 fps in a compact metal housing. The long working distance and adjustable linear polarizer make it suitable for inspection of reflective or uneven surfaces in industrial applications. The model can acquire depth information by analysing focus shifts to derive topographical depth data (see product manual for procedure).

Imaging functions
EDOF captures multiple images at different focus depths and combines them into a single sharp image to increase usable depth of field. EDR captures multiple exposures and merges them to extend dynamic range. AMR automatically detects and stores magnification with captured images to simplify measurements. The built-in adjustable polarizer reduces glare on shiny samples such as metals, plastics, glass, jewelry and PCBs. Note: EDOF, EDR and Depth acquisition are currently supported on Windows only.
